Kapper In Maastricht: Start Tweeting My Blogposts !

Sinds vandaag heb ik een heuse “retweet button” onder elke blogpost, voel je dus vrij om mijn boodschap te “retweeten”.  Er zijn allerlei handige jongens en meisjes “creatief met twitter”. Zo kwam ik de “twitter spiegel” tegen (zie video).  Niet echt een idee dat ik in mijn kapperszaak zou willen toepassen.

Je kunt natuurlijk ook creatief zijn met “kaarsen” zoals deze blogpost van “Love Train for the Tenebrous Empire bewijst”.  Een volslagen zinloze blogpost over het horror effect van kaarsen  die in mijn optiek kans maakt om “viral” te worden. Daar haal ik dan weer inspiratie uit voor het schrijven van mijn blogposts over “de hair extensions van raponsje” ,  “de grotten van Valkenburg” , “Tchantchès en feest in Luik op vijftien Augustus” , “Rihanna’s Red Hair”

I Prefer Maastricht

Hoewel Richard Nahem van “I Prefer Paris” het waarschijnlijk hartgrondig met mij oneens zal zijn: “I prefer Maastricht”.   Hij geeft mij in ieder geval inspiratie om Maastricht te bekijken vanuit het perspectief van   “De rijke bramenplukker” , want daar doet Richard Nahem mij aan denken als hij schrijft over zijn ontdekking van  “A lush garden oasis on an abandoned railroad track high above the city” in Parijs.

Maastricht is like a Bbox, and Afrosalon Maastricht at  Grote Gracht 14  has also been redesigned recently to:

“create the atmosphere of a place of retreat within the city,  warm, cosy, inspiring and surprising, while obviously everything had to happen in one space. “

Het is heerlijk om in het hart van Europa en op het snijvlak van de Europese en Afrikaanse kapperswereld te opereren, ik geniet elke dag weer als ik een klant stralend met een mooi “kopje” de winkel zie verlaten. Binnenkort zal ik een aantal video’s maken zodat je kunt zien hoe de winkel er nu uitziet. Kom in ieder geval langs om je haar model te laten knippen, te verven, hair extensions (100% human hair, Braziliaans haar) te laten zetten of te weaven. Ook ontkroesen en dreadlocks kan natuurlijk.

Redesigning my kapsalon gave me the opportunity to discover Doner Kebap Bodrum at Grote Gracht 45a, a very cozy and friendly  shoarma place nearby (i hate walking long distances), where I off course ordered a  “Kapsalon”:

“A “kapsalon” is also the name of  a snack/dish, which is on the menu of most shoarma snackbars in Rotterdam, and which is gaining popularity in the Randstad, and all over the Netherlands. It’s an aluminium dish filled with layers of: fries, kebab, salad, (lots of) garlick sauce, and with cheese on top. The whole is put briefly in the oven until the cheese has melted.

The name apparently originates from some local hair salon which always ordered this dish with these specific ingredients…

A friend in Leeuwarden, Basile Maneka,  is on a menu in some local restaurant in Leeuwarden. So maybe someday you might  be ordering a “Afrosalon” at your local fastfood store, who knows. I will let you know when I made up my mind.

Kapsalon In Limburg: Swing My Way Shorty

Al surfende kwam ik bij een interessante nederlandstalige hairblog uit: freshDimez !!! De hit “Shorty Swing My Way” past wel bij de vrijdag avond. Even de voetjes van de vloer, stappen in het centrum van Maastricht. Heeft iemand nog tips? Ik ken Maastricht nog niet zo goed. Wat zijn de leuke uitgaaansplekjes. Wat gebeurt er alllemaal in deze bruisende studenten stad wat ik nog niet weet?

Zowel straight als kroes. Ik heb ervaring met het zetten van hair extensions, maar ben ook ervaren in het knippen van Europese kapsels. Ik kan zelfs garmerworldster krultjes zetten.Kom langs voor het knippen van je haar, maar ook voor het zetten van acryl nagels, manicure en pedicure.

Hair Extensions Via Twitter Naar De Kapper

Je kunt mij ook toevoegen op twitter. Ik ben niet de aktiefste twitteraar, maar vindt het altijd leuk als je mij toevoegt. Ik ben vooral aan het hair extensions zetten, ontkroesen, knippen, verven, weaven, dreads zetten.

Stuur mij een email of een twitter bericht. Het is altijd leuk om te kijken of twitter ook nog enige toegevoegde waarde heeft. Ik twitterde al eens met iemand die op het station in Maastricht foto’s stond te maken. Of met de persoon die de trein gemist had in Visé. Misschien ben jij wel in Heerlen of Sittard en verveel je je. Stuur me een twitter.  Ook als je in de trein zit naar Liège.

Wie Was De Kapper Van Marilyn Monroe?

Drukte op TEFAF in Maastricht , handel in het beroemde schilderij van andy warhole “Marilyn Monroe” , de blog  “if it’s hip it’s here” heeft  de Kate Moss versie van dit schilderij,  een leuke immitatie. Marilyn Monroe viel op door haar hairstyle.  Haar hairstyle werd geïnspireerd door Jean Harlow.  Of was het toch Mae West?  Interessant het verleden.  Wie was eigenlijk de kapper van Marilyn Monroe?  Het antwoord op die vraag is:  Agnes Flanagan,  Nick Dagan writes on his blog :
